Now with an original sauce packed with tomato, pickle, carrot, bell pepper, onion and cayenne pepper. The tomato’s sweetness together with the slight spiciness of the cayenne pepper result in irresistible flavor.

Our fish

The Sardina pilchardus is a gregarious species, which makes considerable movements during its life. These migrations allow us to catch them at their best time and place. This blue fish is a marine wonder, with a great amount of nutrients despite its size.

How we do it

Sardines are caught between August and November, with seine fishing and preferably at dawn, to guarantee their best flavor. Sardines of the Sardina pilchardus variety are prepared fresh and with our traditional ‘a la antigua’ recipe.

Once opened, in order to maintain their flavor for up to two days, we recommend keeping the sardines in the refrigerator, preferably covered and completely submerged in their sauce.
